This protected area along the Cape Country Meander supports all seven species of birds that are endemic to fynbos namely; Cape Siskin, Protea Seedeater, Cape Sugarbird, Orange-breasted Sunbird, Hottentot Buttonquail, Cape Rock-Jumper and the Victorin’s Warbler.

There’s an abundance of beautiful birds that make up this area, making it an incredible place to visit, especially with other bird enthusiasts. Additionally, you can find several local tour guides who can help point you in the right direction or take you on a guided adventure through the thick vegetation, to try and catch a glimpse of the exceptional specimens.
