The OGG is set for an exciting 2025 with a robust lineup of presentations, excursions, and initiatives aimed at geologists and enthusiasts alike:

Presentation Highlights

• 6 February 2025: Dr. John Bristow on 100 years of diamond mining on South Africa's West Coast.

• March-April 2025: International gold experts explore topics like placer gold, Witwatersrand structures, and porphyry deposits.

Excursions and Geoheritage

• Half-day trip to De Kelders Caves (early 2025).

• 9–11 May 2025: A multi-day exploration of Bonnievale, Robertson, and Keisie Valley.

OGG continues its dedication to young geoscientists with mentorship and career-building opportunities.
