20 May - 22 May 2022: De Hoop Vlei MTB Experience
The De Hoop Vlei MTB Experience is taking place from 20 - 22 May 2022.
There will be a welcoming optional sunset ride on Friday afternoon for riders who want to stretch the legs and experience some of the extraordinary De Hoop Vlei views before dinner. Saturday and Sunday will provide some decent time in the saddle and a few iconic climbs but just enough distance to enjoy the rest of the afternoon, socializing and relaxing with friends and family. Distances are 55km and 62km respectively.
Mountain bikers are encouraged to bring their family and friends along for the adventure. Riders will enjoy two days of challenging but spectacular riding in and around the De Hoop Nature reserve and Potberg area. The De Hoop Collection offers not only amazing food, and luxury accommodation (not included with entry fee) but also provides the close encounter wildlife viewing for which the nature reserve has become famous.
