I greet you all in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ with the word from Mark 9 v 24 “I believe, Lord, help my unbelief”.

As management of Elim Home, we would like to inform you of the precautionary measure taken as a Non-Profit Organisation, to safeguard our severe and profound, intellectual and physical disabled children.

As a 24hour residential care centre, we fully commit ourselves to the hygiene and safety measures prescribed by the Department of Health.

This is done to sustain a good health service of a high quality of care to our clients.

The President of the Republic of South Africa announced a “Lockdown” as from 26th of March 2020 midnight, to control and reduce the spread of the Coronavirus in our country.

We as Elim Home subject ourselves to the announcement of President Ramaphosa, we commit ourselves to the authority of the Government and the Department of Health.

It is expected that our services continue as normal as it is an essential service.

The workers were officially informed by written notice to give clarity on the arrangements to avoid any misunderstandings.
