Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Theewaterskloof

This week the Office Speaker Derick Appel hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness event in support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The event included a walk from the front of the Theewaterskloof Municipal building in Plein Street and ended at the Victoria Hall, where staff received an educational talk from doctors at #Cancercare oncology unit.

Staff attending the event was also encouraged to make use of the free cancer screening and shave or spray their hair to raise funds for cancer.

This will be become an annual event to raise awareness around early detection and prevention.
