In a world where we feel judged all the time, it is difficult to stand up, stand out, answer our deepest call, and to move forward in confidence. That is true, however, if we do not answer that call is what we lose less or more than the challenge of being you?
You see, the others are only shouting so loud because they are scared, perhaps just like you. The media, advertising campaigns, and social chit-chatter flourish on your fear. People like sensation, and the more shocking the information, the better. Some people pride themselves in being the bearer of the bad news.
We lose ourselves in the process of conforming. That uniqueness that is you is what is needed to start the chain reaction of change. When we stand up, when we become ourselves, when we answer that call, we give other people permission to also stand up, become themselves and to answer their call.
Become quiet. Listen to that inner voice. Hear your heart's call - it beats to its own drum. Don't buy into the limitation that belongs to others, you have enough of your own. Take a deep breath. Give one step, it will lead to more. Honour yourself, grow up and become your you.
