This is my first time to the Overberg and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up extending my holiday in Kleinmond by three days so that I could find the wild horses at Rooisand Nature Reserve and go kayaking down the lagoon.

We live only a short distance away from Kleinmond and we often drive through on a Sunday to have a picnic by the Kleinmond Lagoon. It is such a nice atmosphere! Kids play on the jungle gyms, we can rent a kayak, there are ice-cream vendors, braai facilities and everyone is just in such a good mood. It's our favourite way to end the weekend.

We were desperate to get out of Cape Town and so we drove through to Betty's Bay to see the penguins. When we were there someone recommended we visit Kleinmond and we were so impressed! We've never heard much about the town but we had a really great time browsing the galleries and coffee shops down Harbour Road. The food was also really good and we really want to go back and try river rafting in winter.

Excellent golf! We had a blast at both the Kleinmond Golf Course and Arabella Country Estate. Luckily there was enough to do to keep the rest of the family happy and entertained as well.

Me and a bunch of friends visited Kleinmond on a tour through South Africa for two days. It was a real adventure and our favourite was river rafting down the Palmiet River. We wish we could've stayed longer and would love to see the town in summer.
