Golf in Kleinmond

Kleinmond is something of a golfer's dream. The coastal town boasts two exception golf courses, one 9-hole and the other an 18-hole course.

The 18-hole golf course can be found at the exquisite Arabella Country Estate. The course has been rated as the 5^th best golf course in South Africa, which is most likely due to the pristine grass and challenging sand traps and water hazards. Rumour has it that the 8^th hole on the course is one of the best par fives in the country and the 18^th hole is one of the best finishes.

The local Kleinmond Golf Club on the other hand is an eco-friendly 9-hole course that is a hit amongst locals. Golfers are treated to sterling views as the course is set at the base of a mountain surrounded by fynbos. The course is made a little bit more interesting with occasional visits from baboons, tortoises and birds. From July to December the T-boxes have the added bonus of being able to spot whales in the distance.
