The 25 July 2025 issue of Gans-Berg Nuus covers a Mandela Day event in Caledon where a Safe House was upgraded through a partnership between SAB and Theewaterskloof Municipality. Local projects in Gansbaai included BARC donations, a Masakhane cleanup, and a storage unit built by Firstrand Volunteers. A Courier Guy locker was installed in Franskraal. The Overberg Kushengelklub crowned its winners, with Thys Kemp taking the top angler spot again. Elmarie van Aswegen launched two health-focused books. A new pigeon racing season kicked off, and the annual Galjoen competition is set for 23 August.
