We invite families to join us this July school holiday for a special Mini Ranger experience, designed to help you reconnect with each other in nature.

Program Details:

• A three-night Family Winter Holiday Program
• Encouraging families to reconnect in nature
• Rate: R8 900 for three nights in a De Hoop Village cottage (sleeps 6 - two double rooms and one bunk bedroom)
• Includes “De Hoop Mini Ranger” activities for the children

About the Mini Ranger Program:

• Recommended for children aged 6-11
• Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult on all activities
• Each Mini Ranger who completes the program receives a cap and badge
• Mini Ranger waistcoat vests available for purchase at the Curio Shop
• Rainy day options include biscuit making, spoor plaster moulding, and the Origins Exhibition

Saturday
• 10h00 - Family Nature Quest
• 15h00 - Guided tour of the Origins Exhibition
• 19h00 - Games and nature videos in the Origins Room

Sunday
• 09h00 - Tracking and spoor moulding
• 11h15 - Optional guided marine walk

• 19h00 - Scorpion hunt

Monday
• 10h00 - Check-out
