7 March 2023: Thusong Mobile To Visit Eloxulweni
Tomorrow, on 7 March 2023, Overstrand Municipality's Social Development Department will host a Thusong Mobile Outreach programme at the Eloxulweni Community Hall from 09:00 - 14:00.
The departments and agencies participating in the project include:
• Overstrand Municipality's LED Department (Youth Desk, job seeker (unemployment) registration and economic support via SMME)
• Easy Pay (R350 grant application assistance and enquiries)
• Health
• NYDA (youth support)
• Social Development
• SARS (enquiries and VAT numbers) and
• Home Affairs (first applications for IDs only and first smart card IDs for 60-year-olds).
Unfortunately, the Home Affairs office in Bredasdorp will be affected by a power outage and we therefore will not be able to transport people to Bredadorp to apply for lost documents or to register children, etc.
