Breaking Free from Coping to Transform Your Future

The standard first interaction with the majority of clients goes along the lines of:

"I am not coping, I need skills and tools to cope."

The next reaction is total disbelief when I ask:

"Why do you only want to cope, why don't you want it to change?"

Coping means that we are accepting the situation, the environment, and the inevitable outcome. It means we are engaging in behaviour that taps our energy, steals our focus from our goals, and results in feeling like a victim.

Do you realise you are so powerful that you can actually change everything? It is in that moment when I ask the above question that you see in the eyes that it has never crossed their minds that it can change. That is the response of a victim.

Next time you search for a coach or a psychologist, make sure you are searching for one that will bring about change. Find one that will challenge you to find your inner power and strength. Work with one that will work with you to unlock your true self, realise your amazing skills and aptitude, understand that you are unstoppable and that you are a powerhouse for your future.

Never settle for cope. Change what does not serve you. Own the right and start with yourself. Enjoy the new world that awaits you. Are you ready to change?
