How Personal Transformation Impacts Relationships
Never limit your growth for fear of leaving others behind.
A warning I have for all my clients: As you transform and become successful, people will disappear from your life. Some will do so out of jealousy and envy, while others may have completed their role in your life.
Every person acts as a mirror, reflecting areas in which we need to grow emotionally and undergo transformation. In turn, we play the same role for them. Some individuals may have multiple "mirrors" to hold up, or we might resist personal growth, causing them to play a more significant role in our lives. These reflections offer lessons in self-confidence, self-love, self-belief, self-worth, and more. It is our responsibility to learn from these lessons and to appreciate the opportunity to change and develop.
Every situation presents us with a choice. If I choose not to embrace growth, I shouldn't force others into my resistance. The reverse is also true. Whether we choose to grow and change or not, different people bring different lessons. Some may be temporary reminders of our worth, while others provide opportunities for self-expansion.
