Introducing the De Hoop Foundation: A Commitment to Care, Rooted in Place

For more than a decade, De Hoop Collection has been guided by a simple belief:when people flourish, nature flourishes too.

Our work has always reached beyond hospitality. From groundbreaking archaeological research in De Hoop highlighting cultural significance and the understanding of human evolution, to preserving historical homesteads, to clearing invasive plants, from sponsoring whale research to supporting youth education, each project reflects our deep responsibility to this extraordinary landscape and the people who call it home.

To protect this legacy and ensure long-term impact, we established the De Hoop Foundation - a dedicated non-profit organisation that now oversees and funds our conservation, heritage, and community projects. All contributions from the Conservation, Heritage and Community (CHC) Fee are channelled directly into the Foundation, ensuring transparent, purposeful investment in projects that genuinely matter.
