Annual Fibblo Tournament at L’Agulhas Bowls Club

On Wednesday, 20 May 2026, 40 members of the L’Agulhas Bowls Club took part in the annual Fibblo Half-Day Tournament. It was with great relief that the tournament could proceed, as the weather conditions could easily have affected play. On arrival, each player received a bottle of Fibblo water to take with them to the green.

Teams were drawn from the floor before the start of the first game. Two matches of 12 ends each were played, with delicious soup served between the two games. After the second match, snacks were served before the prize-giving took place.

Mr Thys Oberholster, owner of Fibblo, handed over the prizes. The winners were:
