It is easy for us to stunt our own growth when people say: you are different, you have become selfish, etc. We fear standing alone. We fear being different. We fear having no support.

If the "love or support" we receive no longer encourage growth, then it is not love and support. 

We all came here to grow emotionally, spiritually, in self realization, in self-love, and understanding our inter-connectedness. We received and nurtured our specific talents so we may go on paths that will help us to grow. 

The fact that you are living your purpose towards love, should be a celebration. Never make yourself small because others cannot receive the gift of your example.
