Important Dates:

• Sat, 31 Aug: Netball Overberg Fast 5 Tournament (home) and Sevens Rugby for U15 and U17 teams (Paarl)
• Mon, 2 Sept: Grade 12 LO NSS Final Exam
• Fri, 6 Sept: Casual Day and Secretary's Day

Staff News:

• Mr. Retief will attend the SAOU Principals Symposium in Gqerberha from 1-4 September.

Cultural Achievements:

• Public Speaking: William Swartbooi and San-Mari Rossouw (Grade 11) participated in the second round of the Overberg Regional Museum Public Speaking Competition.
• Choir: The choir qualified for the Artscape Schools Arts Festival Gala, representing the Overberg District. Congratulations to all choir members and the director, Mrs. Simóne Rossouw, for this achievement!

Social Activities:

• Matric Breakfast: The annual matric breakfast was held on 23 August, featuring a motivational speech by alumna Ms. Zandi Ncgaba and a dance performance by Mr. Marlon Olivier's Just Dance Studio.

Sports Results:

• Sevens Rugby: The U17 team had a successful run, winning several matches, including a victory over Paarl Boys High. The U15 team also performed well, winning against HS Robertson and Hoër Landbouskool Oakdale.

Special Recognition:

• Julia de Kock (matric 2015) was selected for the Springbok Endurance Riding team. She recently competed in Swakopmund, Namibia, securing fourth place overall.
