Bredasdorp High School Newsletter 15/2025 Highlights!
Here’s what’s been happening at Bredasdorp High:
• A generous donation is making a new bus garage and multi-use sports/function venue possible.
• Grade 11 and 12 learners attended the official launch of the BD Careers Club with guest speakers from Boland College and CSI Guardians.
• Our AI Hackathon team, Barrier Breakers, placed 8th nationally with their language learning app prototype - among 900+ learners!
• Big wins for BD Netball against Dirkie Uys! Congratulations to all our players and those selected for the Western Cape and Overberg teams!
• Rugby and hockey teams also shined at the Overberg Agri Sports Day. Huge thanks to all sponsors and supporters!
• The chess team defeated Dirkie Uys 13-9, with standout performances from Gabriel Jonathan and Christiaan Liebenberg.
• Good luck to all learners for the exams starting next week! The Grade 10B class shared a comforting moment with coffee and rusks ahead of exam season.
