Training Tips
The easiest part of an exercise routine is deciding you’re going to start - the challenge lies in keeping it up.
We hope that these tips provide you with some inspiration.
1. FIND A TRAINING PARTNER
Find a committed partner who has more or less the same goals, someone who will motivate you on the harder days. If you train with a friend, you'll feel more inclined to stick to your programme because you'll feel guilty for letting them down if you don't show up.
2. TAKE THINS EASY
If you start doing too much too fast, you'll end up quitting after a few workouts. Make sure you enjoy yourself, and you want to carry on.
3. MAKE SHORT & LONG-TERM GOALS
What you like to achieve through exercise, and by when. Write these goals down and keep them in a visible place so you're always reminded of them.
4. KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR PROGRESS
If you started out lifting weights at 10kg's and now a month later, you've upped that weight to 15kg's - that's a reason to celebrate. Your muscles are getting stronger and you're making progress.
5. CHANGE YOUR EATING HABITS
If you are eating healthy as well as working out, you'll find that you'll see more results, which should encourage you to continue.
6. VARY YOUR ROUTINE
We all get bored at some point in our routines, but to combat this, make sure you try a variety of the activities available.
Good luck!
