It’s been a busy and successful week at Hoërskool Bredasdorp, with exciting school news, learner achievements and sporting highlights.
Congratulations to Malienke van Wyk, who was named runner-up in the national Media24/Beeld Poetry Competition.
Our rugby teams competed strongly, with the U17 team reaching the Groot Uitdaag final. Congratulations also to the players selected for the Tournament Team.
The tennis team finished 3rd at the Swellendam Superspar Tennis Tournament, while our chess players represented the Overberg at the Western Cape Top Schools event.
Learners also achieved excellent results at the Moorreesburg Youth Show in photography, culinary arts, dairy preparation, poultry and more.
The school is also preparing for the matric farewell on 23 September, while spring has brought colour and new beginnings to the school.
