One Step at a Time
We can decide to tackle the mountain, or we can climb it one step at a time.
Take the time to find the thing that will lift you. Take a break and have a cup of coffee or tea, go for a walk, do a little weeding in your garden. It does not matter what, do something that will lift you and watch the mist clear.
In that moment that you take your attention of the mountain, you allow yourself to hear or see guidance that might lead you to a solution. When your head is down in the problem, you can't smell the roses, see the smile, hear the beautiful music, feel the love of a loved one, or taste the chocolate.
One stone at a time is all it takes to build your path over the mountain. Look for the light in the small stuff - they become the spotlight. What will you do right now to take your attention of the problem?
