Happy New Year! Here's an overview of OGG's exciting plans for the first quarter of 2025:

Presentation and Breakfast Program (Feb–April 2025)

• 6 Feb: Centenary of West Coast Diamond Prospecting with Dr. John Bristow (Onrus Manor and Zoom, 11:00).

• 6 March: Placer Gold Science by Prof. Dave Craw (Zoom, 10:00).

• 13 March: Witwatersrand Structures and Gold by Dr. Julian Vearncombe (Zoom, 10:00).

• 3 April: Southern African Metallogeny by Dr. Bjorn Von Der Heyden (Onrus Manor and Zoom, 11:00).

Excursions

• Bonnievale to Montagu Geoexcursion (9–11 May): Explore Jurassic Enon sediments, Worcester fault, and more!

• De Kelders Caves: A half-day adventure featuring limestone caverns, mega-dunes, and scenic walks (date TBA).
