Cedar Essential Oil
Consistent. Certain. Cedar.
Cedrus atlantica
When you need to rise above your circumstances.
Sometimes you meet people who seem to glide through life with dignity. As if nothing can disturb their calm, they stand around calmly when everyone else starts to panic during a crisis. Just looking at them instills confidence and makes you feel safe.
They seem almost haughty, as if they are royalty and you wonder if you can ask them a question.
When you get to know them better, they are humble and a source of strength and calm during crises.
You wish you could be like that when life gets tough...
Take a big step in the right direction.
Make cedarwood oil part of your essential oil collection.
Here is a little more about this remarkable oil.
From eternity to eternity...
This is the impression you immediately get when you meet this impressive tree, and in different cultures cedar trees are considered symbols of greatness, strength and steadfastness.
A ruler among the trees
A well-known German aromatherapist, Susanne Fischer-Rizzi, describes the cedar as follows: What the lion represents in the animal kingdom, the cedar represents in the plant kingdom.
Cedars of Lebanon
The oldest known cedar tree, a Cedar of Lebanon, (Cedrus libani), is found in the Çığlıkara Nature Reserve in Antalya Province in Turkey. The tree’s age is estimated at 2,000 years. Cedars of Lebanon are an endangered species, and there are projects to reintroduce these precious trees.
Our oil’s origin - Cedrus atlantica
These trees are also known as Moroccan cedars, and many sources consider the Cedrus atlantica to be a descendant of the Cedrus libani (Cedar of Lebanon). It is from these cedars that most of our essential oil is made.
The oil is distilled mainly in Morocco and northwestern Algeria, from trees that grow in the Atlas Mountains in Africa.
Fragrance
Cedar oil smells very pleasant – also for men. The scent is associated with strength, courage, dignity, steadfastness and wisdom. It certainly also has a sensual undertone and is used in sensual soaps and perfumes for men and women.

The scent of cedar anchors, calms, stabilizes and reduces anxiety and tension. It strengthens the nervous system, and helps to reduce lethargy.
