1. We all find small clear plastic bags very useful as carrier bags for small items like broken chains and cash payments we want to hand over but when they have served their turn, they seldom get re-used, they mostly get tossed in the bin and end up in land refill sites. Far too often they find their way into the sea.
2. We don't claim our envelopes work every bit as well as plastic bags because they don't have the seal but we do clalim they are a very workable substitute and they are environmentally firendly. We cut them from out-of-date calendars and maps and magazines of suitable weight. You never know what you are going to get in a pack so it's quite fun using them too - adds a little grin to your day.
3. The envelope can be made secure by folding it or if that isn't enough, by securing it with a rubber band or staples.
4. Envelopes used for jobs like this are usually the envelopes with the straight-edged flap.
5. If one wants a slightly bigger envelope, one can order the combo envelope.
6. Finally if one wants to send out something that has to look good, like invitations you can supply the paper, perhaps a collage of photos and we'll make unique victorian envelopes for you.
7. The cost of the envelopes is R2 and the minimum order is 10. Delivery or collection in Betty's Bay or Kleinmond is always arranged to suit the client.
8. We do have a card envelope too if needed for a special occason which costs R5 (the cost of the card adds to the price)
PS: Yes the envelope is more expensive than the plastic bag but you don't want your grandchildren saying to you, 'You knew and you didn't do anything about it' do you?
