How Your Reactions Shape Personal Growth

Your reaction will determine the impact of the event.

There are two possible outcomes to any event - you either get triggered or move through it easily.

"We get triggered because it activates limiting beliefs within us. The emotion that arises in a situation depends on the root emotion of the belief: anger, fear, hurt, sadness, or others. No matter the emotion, we tend to start avoiding the current situation and this can lead to eventual self-sabotage. This closes us off from personal growth and puts us in survival mode."

Negative reactions stemming from negative emotions and beliefs can reinforce your limiting beliefs. To positively impact your future, become aware of the triggers, identify the underlying limiting belief, and release it. This will allow you to build a future with a much different outcome.

Be intentional about being present and mindful in the moment to maximize the benefits for your emotional freedom and personal development.
