Horticulturist, Warren Stegmann, inherited his green thumb from his grandparents who were farmers. One of his earliest memories is sowing marigold seeds with his grandmother whose magnificent garden was one of the town's main attractions. When those first marigolds bloomed so did his love for gardening.
Warren went on to study horticulture at CPUT (Cape Technikon). During this time he gained experience by working part-time for Robert Stodel at Stodels in Belville and then in his third year, at Starke Ayres in Rosebank. After qualifying, he completed a further three months of training at a production nursery (Gertnerei Schwaab) in Germany.
Over the years, a deep love for all things to do with plants and landscaping has taken Warren around the globe where he has worked in Dubai, Mauritius and Germany.
