Hermanus is a bustling coastal town in the Western Cape, situated approximately 90 minutes from Cape Town in the majestic Overberg region. This once sleepy fishing village now hosts over 30 000 visitors a year which requires extra care and monitoring in terms of town management.

As these are diversely populated areas, the municipality also ensures that basic needs are met. Routine maintenance on public roads, recycling collection, town planning, supplying water and electricity, traffic services, police support and fire and disaster management are all criteria that’s covered by the municipality.
