Signing of the pledge
The Executive Mayor, Cllr. Paul Swart and Municipal Manager, Mr. Eben Phillips recently signed a pledge on behalf of the council and administration of the Cape Agulhas Municipality and declared that the municipality will honour and uphold the following ethical values in serving the public: Fairness, Integrity, Transparency, Innovativeness, Responsiveness, Empathy, Accountability and Responsibility.
The Risk Management Unit assisted by the Communication Unit compiled and published a Risk Management, Anti-Corruption and Fraud Prevention and Ethics Information Booklet. This booklet will be distributed to all staff electronically and/or a printed booklet.
