L’Agulhas Bowlers Represent Club at Boland Trials

Three members of L’Agulhas Bowls Club proudly represented the club at the Boland Trials, held in Hermanus on Saturday, 22 August.

Jacques Prins, Diane Moller and Estelle Madden were selected by L’Agulhas Bowls Club to take part in the trials, where they competed against some of the strongest bowlers from clubs across the Boland.

Conditions on the day proved particularly challenging. Strong winds, combined with an extremely fast green, tested the players throughout the competition. Three games were played during the course of the day, providing a demanding test of skill, concentration and adaptability.

Jacques, Diane and Estelle can all be proud of their performances and the way in which they represented L’Agulhas Bowls Club. Being selected to participate in the Boland Trials is an achievement in itself, and we congratulate all three players on carrying the club’s name with pride.

The weekend became even more special for L’Agulhas when, on Sunday, 23 August, the Boland Ladies Kuipers Team was announced.

We are extremely proud to congratulate Estelle Madden, who was selected for the team. Estelle will play in the third position in a team of four, a wonderful achievement and well-deserved recognition of her bowling.
