Invitation: Vessel Management System(VMS) Handover Ceremony
Cape Agulhas Municipality(CAM) will host a handover ceremony tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 November 2022, at 10:00 at the Arniston Harbour and at 14:00 at the Struisbaai Harbour.
This event takes place against the backdrop of efforts by our Economic Development and Tourism Division to assist our local fishermen. CAM approached Seda to provide much-needed VMS systems free of charge to boat owners to enable them to return to the sea. Most residents of these towns depend on fishing as their main source of income.

Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit(KAM) bied môre, Dinsdag, 15 November 2022, 'n oorhandigingseremonie aan by om 10:00 by die Arniston Hawe en om 14:00 by die Struisbaai Hawe.
Hierdie geleentheid vind plaas teen die agtergrond van pogings deur ons Ekonomiese Ontwikkeling en Toerisme Afdeling om ons plaaslike vissers by te staan. KAM het vir Seda genader om broodnodige VMS-stelsels gratis aan booteienaars te verskaf om hulle in staat te stel weer see toe te gaan. Die meeste inwoners van hierdie dorpe is afhanklik van visvang as hul hoofbron van inkomste.
