Greyton Primary's Mouth and Teeth Hygiene Session
Greyton Primary recently hosted an educational session for our learners focused on the importance of mouth and teeth hygiene. This engaging event provided students with essential information on how to care for their teeth and gums, emphasising the impact of oral hygiene on overall health.
The session began with a fun, interactive presentation that explained why brushing twice a day, flossing, and regular dental check-ups are crucial for preventing cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues. The learners eagerly participated, asking questions and sharing their experiences, which helped make the session both informative and enjoyable. They learned how to brush and floss properly, and the presenters explained the impact of sugar on their teeth, encouraging healthy dietary choices to keep their smiles bright and strong.
Teachers also shared useful tips on maintaining oral hygiene habits at home, reinforcing the idea that taking care of one's mouth is a lifelong practice. By the end of the session, the students understood the benefits of a healthy smile.
This session highlighted Greyton Primary’s commitment to our students’ health and well-being, teaching them lifelong skills for a healthy lifestyle. We’re proud of our learners for embracing these lessons and look forward to seeing their bright smiles continue to shine!
