Meet Artist Shane Wyeth

"I have always been attracted to the visual arts.

After a fulfilling career in graphic design and advertising, I now live in Knysna with my wife, having moved from Johannesburg over 3 years ago. Painting is an important part of my life now and gives me great pleasure.

For me, oil paint is a strong but forgiving medium. I’m interested in landscapes and still life. Recently I’ve developed a particular interest in urban landscapes.

I attempt to capture the subject and mood in a naturalistic but painterly, expressive way."
