As we prepare for the 2026 school year, our team is already hard at work making sure every Grade R child in our community begins their educational journey with confidence, excitement, and pride. And this year, we’re inviting you to be part of something small that makes a big difference.

We are collecting empty ice-cream containers to upcycle into colourful, practical stationery boxes for our new Grade R learners. These little boxes will hold their crayons, pencils, scissors and glue - but more importantly, they’ll hold the feeling of belonging that every child deserves on their first day of school.

For many of our little ones, having their very own stationery box is more than just a container…

It’s a symbol of starting strong.

It’s something they can be proud of.

It’s the first step in a long and exciting educational journey.

After enjoying your ice cream, wash out the empty tub and drop it off at any of our collection points. Every container donated becomes a gift of confidence for a child stepping into Grade R for the very first time.
