Meet Artist Jan Kotze

Jan is a self-taught artist originally from KZN, who has been painting full-time since 2007. He has exhibited extensively and his works adorn multiple boardrooms locally and internationally.

Having spent most of his adult life involved with conservation and living close to nature his focus is mostly on portraying our abundant and unique natural heritage.

Rather than trying to be photographically realistic, he tries to create depth and dimension in those particular moments that stick in our mind's eye and leave us with a sense of awe and calm in an increasingly turbulent environment.
