Thank You, GLID: Informative Session for Greyton Primary's Year 5 Learners

Greyton Primary School extends heartfelt thanks to the Genadendal Legal Info Desk (GLID) for the invaluable information session they held with our Grade 5 learners. The session, led by knowledgeable presenters Matthew Smith and Tarryn Solomons, focused on important health topics including Measles, Tuberculosis, Diabetes, and HIV.

This informative and engaging session provided our learners with vital knowledge about these health conditions, helping them understand how to stay healthy and prevent illness. Matthew and Tarryn’s clear explanations and interactive approach made it easy for the students to grasp the importance of health awareness and responsibility. They also answered questions from the learners, ensuring everyone left with a better understanding of how these diseases impact individuals and communities.

We are grateful to GLID for their commitment to educating young minds and empowering them with essential health information. The session was a great success, leaving our students better informed and more mindful of their well-being.

Thank you, GLID, Matthew Smith, and Tarryn Solomons, for your dedication to our community and for making such a positive impact on our learners!
