Greyton Art Walk

Welcome to the 8th Greyton Art Walk 2024!

Greyton, known as South Africa’s Little England, is a charming, arty town surrounded by mountains, rivers, and quiet oak-lined lanes. Take a stroll through the picturesque streets, enjoy the local coffee shops, restaurants, and gift shops, and explore art galleries. Whether you’re in the mood for a relaxing horse ride or a visit to the Saturday market, Greyton is the perfect getaway.

Over the past few years, Greyton has become known as THE art town, and our art culture keeps growing. The Greyton Art Walk (GAW), which started in 2017, has become a platform for ALL artists to showcase their work. Each year, around 50 artists exhibit their creations, and we’re proud to see original artworks being sold and appreciated.

Our community-driven project, the Children's Art Exhibition, helps nurture young talent. We provide schools with art supplies, offer training, and host an exhibition showcasing around 200 artworks by local children.

GAW 2024 is set to be the year of ‘excellence’! With support from Meridian Realty, our new sponsor, we’re taking Greyton Art Walk to the next level. Meridian’s help will improve marketing, including artist video clips and online sales opportunities. A huge thank you to Mr. Christoff Coetzer from Meridian for his support and love for Greyton.

This year, we’re excited to welcome well-known artist Richard Scott to GAW 2024! Explore Greyton’s vibrant art scene, with over 50 artists and galleries opening their doors to the public.

GAW Explorer, our full-colour booklet, will guide you through all the galleries and exhibition spaces, with yellow GAW flags pointing the way. You can also find artist profiles in the booklet.
