We try and make the Hermanus Whale Festival every year in September because we simply love it! Our kids love the activities and excitement of the festival. Although their favourite is still spotting the whales from the shore!

We were worried about visiting South Africa at the end of their winter but we had such an amazing time in Hermanus! The whales had just arrived and we were so lucky to see them. The service and food in the town was also really good. Hopefully we will come back again soon.

I love the bustle of Hermanus (coming from quiet Swellendam) and especially love being by the ocean. We stayed in a B&B that had incredible sea views and we loved the shopping! We will be back again for sure.

After lots of planning we finally took our holiday in Hermanus and it was amazing! There is so much to do and the accommodation was perfect. We had fun trying out a different restaurant every night and were never disappointed. See you next year Hermanus!

Great spot for a holiday. We loved hiking in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and in between spent some well-deserved time on the beach. Also a big thanks to the restaurants for catering for our speial needs and your hospitality.

We simply love having our big family holidays in Hermanus. While the ladies do the shpping the men and the kids spend time on the beach or at the nature reserve or in the Old Harbour. Its such a beautiful town with something for everyone to do. We'll be back!
