Support Hermanus High Old Scholar Tinouw Agenbag
The Hermanus High School Old Scholar Association calls on all old scholars, families and the wider community to stand together in support of fellow old scholar Tinouw Agenbag.
On Friday, 31 July 2026, Seeff Hermanus & Whale Coast will host An Evening of Hope for Tinouw, a special Black Tie fundraising event dedicated to helping Tinouw on his long road to recovery.
At just 25 years old, Tinouw, from Onrus, underwent emergency open-heart surgery after suffering a life-threatening dissecting aortic aneurysm. While the surgery was successful, he now faces months of rehabilitation, specialist treatment and ongoing medical care. Unfortunately, his medical aid has declined to cover these life-saving expenses, placing tremendous financial pressure on his family.
The evening promises to be both elegant and meaningful, with a three-course dinner, inspirational guest speaker Hykie Berg, live entertainment, a live auction and music to end the night.
