Now in Stock: Bosman ADAMA Red
Bosman Family Vineyards is not only a wine producer. The cellar is part of Bosman Adama, in which 260 permanently employed workers received a 26% stake in the Bosman Adama business in 2009 - making it a significant role player in the vine and wine growing industry of the Western Cape, and the largest land reform transaction in the history of the South African wine industry.
We have the ADAMA Red blend in stock, and here are their Tasting Notes: “All 8 components of this innovative blend have been vinified separately to preserve & express the unique characteristics of each varietal. The 15% new oak not only complements the generous fruit aromas on the nose but contributes to the structure of the wine as well. The Shiraz is matured in a combination of new American and French oak. While the rest of the wines are matured in second to fifth fill French oak. Just before bottling the blend is made up, differing every year depending on the strengths if the components. Generous flavours of plums, dark cherries and chocolate develop in the glass while the finish is lively with mineral accents. (Shiraz 62%, Mourvedre 14%, Cinsaut 7%, Grenache Noir 5.5%, Primitivo 5.5%, Nero D'Avola 4%, Tempranillo 1%, Durif 1%).” As with all the Bosman wines, we are very happy to have these on our shelves!
