Festivals in Hermanus

Hermanus and its surroundings is a land of marvel and adventure. Situated in the Overberg, on the edge of Walker Bay, this amazing town has been around for over a hundred years and has become a wonderful tourist destination. Yet it still manages to maintain its allure and natural splendour through mindful conservation and utmost respect for the natural splendour and wildlife found here. If wine and food festivals are more up your alley then you certainly won’t be dissapointed in what the Hemel-en-Aarde vineyards and orchards offer. You’ll be able to go wine tasting while also snacking on amazing treats from all around this amazing countryside. 

If you’re visiting Hermanus during a festival time then definitely look around for accommodation that is offering special rates for longer durations. Whether it’s for carols by candlelight or a local flower show, rather stay a few days longer and really savour the experience than rush the adventure. Hermanus truly has something to amaze almost any onlooker. If you visit while the town is abuzz with celebration then you’re bound to have one of your most memorable getaways.
