Double-Check Overstrand Municipality Account Name Before Payments
It has come to our attention that some ratepayers are mistakenly using the Overberg District Municipality's name when paying their accounts. They are making payments to Overberg instead of to the Overstrand Municipality.
The Overstrand Municipality has four separate bank account numbers for various types of electronic payments including accounts, traffic fines, the Onrus Caravan Park, and a primary account for general payments.
Please double check that the correct details and amounts are entered when making EFT payments. Please delete the old recipient and create a new one as per the details provided below.
If you use a debit order to settle your municipal account, the banking details will be updated automatically.
