You can put his gift in a gift box - handmade specially for him and to fit the gift you have picked for him.
If you're stuck for an idea and your Dad doesn't drink wine, don't forget the olive oil-in-a-box (I've put in a pic just in case you need to see it again).
You can decorate the box if you want to do that, of course.

The price, as always, depends on the size of the box and the colour of the card.
A lot of Dads have a sweet tooth and we have some very appealing heart boxes in various sizes. You can buy lots of his favourite sweet treat or only a little - we've got a box to fit. It doesn't have to be a heart and when he has eaten the chocolates he can keep whatever he likes, bits of string, his cuff links, his beechies ... in the box.
