You are not the victim of what happened to you. You are the person who lives in your head, by the stories you tell yourself about the experiences you have had. After every event ask:

• Did I like the experience or not?
• What was the lesson in this experience?
• What am I taking away from this experience that will make me STRONGER?

Then move on, because there will be another experience. Learn the lesson, become stronger, be true to yourself, and above all love and have fun. What lessons did you learn yesterday?
