When Empathy Meets Manipulation

The Narcissist will choose the Empath because they instinctively know the Empath will become the Enabler.

When you are someone who deeply understands pain, who wants to heal and connect, the narcissist sees an open door.

They need someone who will see their past trauma… and excuse their present behaviour. They rely on your empathy not to grow, but to avoid accountability.

This is not about blame.
It’s about awareness.

Because once you see how your beautiful heart has been used as a shield to protect someone else's dysfunction, you can stop handing them the weapons.

You are not responsible for fixing anyone.
You are responsible for protecting your peace.

Empathy is a gift - not a sentence.
You deserve love, not survival.
You deserve respect, not confusion.
You deserve connection, not control.

It’s time to reclaim your power, redefine love, and remember who you are.
You were not made to be a lifeline for someone determined to sink you.

You were made to thrive.
