Free Business Growth Seminar for Overstrand Entrepreneurs
Overstrand SMMEs invited to free business growth seminar.
As small businesses across Overstrand continue to face significant challenges - particularly in accessing funding and business development support - the Overstrand Municipality’s Socio-Economic Services (SES) continues to roll out workshops and outreach programmes aimed at supporting local economic development.
One such initiative is the upcoming Enterprise Development Seminar, which will be hosted in collaboration with Africa Small Business Development (ASBD) on 13 October 2025 at the Multi-Purpose Centre at Hermanus New Harbour, from 10:00 to 14:00.
Local enterprises will have the opportunity to learn about starting and growing a business, connect with support services, and access resources to help them succeed.
The seminar will also offer practical assistance with company registration, business consulting, funding applications, market research, training, and mentorship. Additional support will be available in areas such as marketing, financial management, and preparing businesses for growth.
This is a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain the tools and connections they need to take their businesses to the next level. The event is free of charge and open to all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Overstrand area.
For further information, visit your nearest Socio-Economic office for assistance, or contact the SMME Compliance Admin officer, Makaziwe Jamekwana on 028 313 5010 or ledzwelihle@overstrand.gov.za.
