22 Days to Christmas

Midweek Movie Night

Let everyone write down the movies they would like to watch. Remember, they must be family appropriate. Place these into a hat, bowl, or jar.

Next, let everyone nominate a meal. Put that into a container, or write it on a different colour of paper, and they can go into the same container as the movie.

Now, snacks. What is a movie without some popcorn? Let everyone give their favourite movie snack, write it down on paper (a different colour again), and drop it in with the movie and meal.

Our immediate family time is very important during this silly season. We expect everyone to run around crazy, and we might feel frazzled and tired. Yet, when we set out for the holidays, we magically expect everyone to be in the holiday mood - calm and happy. We have to cultivate this if we want to reap the reward of it. This might seem senseless, but you are planting seeds soon to enjoy the benefit of it.
