Mayor thanks businesses and the community for all the support.

Overstrand Executive Mayor Dudley Coetzee would like to express his deepest gratitude to everyone who offered support (both emotionally and nutritionally) to the firefighters while combating fires in Pearly Beach and Uilkraalsmond. "It has been wonderful to see such an outpouring of support for our firefighters,” he added.

Overstrand's Executive Mayor, Raadsheer Dudley Coetzee, thanked the greater gansbaai community who opened their hearts and hands big and clear during the fire last week between pearly beach and uilkraalsmond. "The manner in which residents responded to the situation, was truly exceptional," Mayor Coetzee said.

He added that it is almost impossible to thank everyone at names because there are too many individuals, institutions and businesses. Coetzee also thanked the emergency services for their contribution.
