Landscaping with Nature and other delicious things

The Barefoot Connection

I have been landscaping with South African Indigenous plants for the past 19 years and have a deep knowledge and understanding of these plants, especially the bulbous jewels. There are a couple of key aspects that innovate my designs - authentic to the area and the client, reflection of the design of the home, collages of colour using quality plants, creating a piece of heaven for the pollinators, just to name a few.

Nature is beautifully ordered and expressively chaotic in the same breath. The aim is to create a unique sacred sanctuary which becomes an integral part of the flow of a home as a reflection of the people who live in the space.

As a bulb specialist, these beauties give a magic sparkle to all gardens as they flower when least expected. I love the fact that there are some bulbs that only flower just before it rains or when a specific pollinator has been hatched... how unique!

The other delicious plants to grow are the ones you eat - yes! Delicious juicy veg and herbs. Here I guide and teach people how to grow using organic products, being guided by the moon phases, as well as soil prep to get the best results.

If you require consultancy only and you want to create your own garden, then you are in the right place. With technology today it is so easy to touch base with me.
