Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant

A renovated original farm cottage is the setting for the charming tasting and bar area, with views over a dam to the Stanford valley beyond. The large outside seating area is covered and thus protected from the elements during winter. The drop down blinds and two fireplaces ensure that this venue is perfect for breakfast or lunch all year round.

The Tasting Room restaurant has a reputation for laid back fun, with the emphasis on fresh and inventive food of an exceptionally high standard.

The chalkboard menu changes daily and always offers an interesting variety of options. Aside from the hot kitchen, there is also a fairly extensive mezze/tapas menu to pick and choose from. The kitchen uses local organic and free-range products wherever possible, as we believe that it is the quality of the ingredients which truly make a meal memorable.

The Tasting Room is child and pet-friendly and a lovely place to spend time with the whole family. There is a sandpit, trampoline and jungle gym, as well as a number of small boats which can be paddled around on the dam.

We offer a great space to host your celebration or corporate function.

Open seven days a week from 08:30 to 17:00 for breakfast, lunch and wine tastings.
