WARD 8 MEETING ON CRIME

Ward 8 Councillor, Arnie Africa, will be hosting a community meeting on crime and challenges faced in the Fisherhaven/Hawston area on 17 March 2022 at 19:00 at the Thusong Centre in Hawston.

Representatives from Overstrand Municipal Law Enforcement and the South African Police Service (SAPS) will also be part of the discussions on:

• Current crime trends 

• Crime patterns

• Crime types/problems and the

• Road ahead

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting. "We need everybody to come on board to reduce crime,” Cllr Africa says.
